Primark Fashion Nails

Good evening :)
I am here today to ramble incessantly about primark's own glue on nails.

I've tried several of them before and I think they're wonderful, they don't chip easily and they stay on for a good few days, and the BEST point of all is that they don't trash your real nails when you take them off.
I buy these on a regular basis as a lazy change from my usual glue on nails.
They have wonderful patterns and they're getting ever more creative, yesterday on a Christmas shopping trip I couldn't resist popping 2 sets into my basket. The blue ombre ones pictured above and the lilac ones (below)

In the past I have used the navy blue with white stars and found them to be the best so far.
The gold metallic and the "love - hate" embossed ones are not too sparkling. They are strange sizes and I couldn't find the correct sized nails to spell out the words and the metallic ones smudged and came off when putting them on as they came into contact with the glue.
They are all £1 (super duper cheap) and are so so easy to apply!
The best thing about them is that they're not massively long, they're correctly sized and look really natural, they can be filed (I suggest investing in a false nail file)

The only tip I have for anyone who doesn't use them regularly is to size up all your nails and set them out, then glue on from the little nail inwards, ie - both your little nails then both your ring fingers etc etc. it saves ALOT of fiddling and faffing about when you have one hand done and can't get the rest on due to having long nails.

I'm sorry this post hasn't been massively long, but I haven't got much to say other than 90% of the designs are wonderful a and I recommend anyone and everyone to give them a go :) I can imagine them being a bit of a nightmare for anyone who has long nails, but primark do have some wonderful nail wraps!

Dark angels - lush cosmetics

Good afternoon :)
Today I am going to rant at you about the amazing "dark angels" by lush cosmetics.
I was recommended this product by several different people on tumblr after I spent months moaning about the fact my skin was disgusting, prone to spots and really really greasy sometimes.
Being a cheapskate never comes easy when it boils down to buying good skin products, I refuse to spend more than £6-7 on something new.
For a 100g pot it cost £6.25, so seeing as it was in my price range I bought it. This was several months ago, and once this pot runs out you can bet your sweet ass I'll be buying another.
It does wonders for my skin and makes me feel like I've for no pores at all while my skin can breathe :) it's magic, but not so sexy.
The ingredients are all natural and are made by hand in some secret amazing laboratory where rainbows and kittens are created.

It smells amazing but I recommend you use this in private as your partner will take a photo & probably hold it against you forever.
You start off with a small blob in your palm, add warm water and rub your hands together to create a paste.

Then literally smoosh it into your face

Warning: you WILL look like a coal miner for several minutes

And your sink will be disgraceful too..

But your skin will look and feel shiny and amazing afterwards.

The ONLY complaint I have about this product is that it's messy, and I can't use it as a quick fix in a morning. I specially use it in the shower due to the fact that it gets everywhere and messes your hair up.
It's vegan friendly - to those who only use vegan products & it's got a pretty good life span unlike a few of lush's other products.

I can only apologise for the quality of these images, and also for my face.
I do not have the most spectacular face in the world.
Nor do i give a shit.

Products I can't live without #1

Now, trawling through endless amounts of fabulous blogs led me to believe that telling you about my favourite beauty products is a must for any successful blog, and considering that's what I want to be - that's where I'm going to start :)
Jumping in at the deep end here and proclaiming my love for femfresh intimate wash!
There's a common misconception around the femfresh products where most women (and a lot of men) think that it's for "smelly bits", actually it's completely the opposite - it's stops that from happening. The reason you get a bit icky in your lady garden is mainly due to ill advice - it is NOT okay to use your fabulous lime natural source shower gel because A) it bloody well stings and B) it causes a chemical imbalance and your foof doesn't like it and since it's already self cleaning, it has a jolly ol' attempt at getting rid of the limey goodness you've just used to sort yourself out.
Considering most women (me excluded because I'm a badass and wax) hate to dry shave their Minnie, it also helps with the exfoliation and the bit of lather you need to help your razor along :)
This product is wonderful, it's PH balanced & it does exactly what it says on the tin.
It's usually around the £3.50 mark from most places like tesco and boots, however Asda do a fantastic alternative for a much cheaper price. I always make sure I grab a bottle if it's on offer.

I hope to god this wasn't too graphic for you all & I apologise for the sexual health lesson, but even if 1 lady stops using normal body wash and resorts to this then I will be a very happy lady :)

Mornin'

Good Morning, after many years and deliberation as to whether i should start a bblog i finally decided to take the plunge. I compiled a list of reasons why and why i shouldn't start a blog & i decided that you should probably see this too.

Why:
Because i am fabulous
I have excellent taste in clothes

Why Not:
I am foul mouthed (and people don't generally like this)

I am in uni (i'll forget about it and give up after a week)
I actually have awful taste in clothes, and makeup (I generally have NO style)
I end up rambling where i should be talking about clothes/makeup/beauty
I'm a lunatic
I'm not photogenic (i mean, at all..)

However, these factors did not deter me and my best friend convinced me to share my insane ramblings, pointless questions and idealism of the world whilst telling you about fabulous beauty products etc etc.
You get the idea?
Good :)

Now would be a good time to tell you about me?! I am 23, not far off 24 (fuck, i am old) and i am currently studying Photography at University, i live with the most spectacular man in existence in our teeny tiny one bedroom ground floor flat.
I dress like a child who's taken copious amounts of hallucinogenics, swear like a sailor on leave and enjoy a good argument.

I will be reviewing the lower end of beauty products, purely because i am a poor student and i can't afford anything more expensive than Rimmel as i have electricity and sketchbooks to pay for.
Please bare with me as i get into the swing of things :)
